Sugarshine

Sugarshine, that's right, I didn't say Moonshine, I said Sugarshine.  This is Donner-Peltier's rum version of a moonshine. 

Sugarshine is a clear 101 proof rum, produced in Louisiana with the sugar grown in the fields which surround the distiller.  It is one of first two in their Rougaroux line.  The other being the 80 proof Full Moon Dark rum.

Try Sugarshine to replace clear rum in your favorite drink recipes to give them an extra kick!
 
Here are a few drink recipes for you .

A Fur Long Too Late

2 oz Sugarshine
4 oz ginger beer
1 twist lemon peel

Pour Sugarshine and ginger beer into a glass filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and garnish with lemon.

 

Pina Coloda

 

1 oz Sugarshine

1 oz Coconut milk

3 oz pineapple juice

 

Pour ingredients into a blender.  Blend well.  Pour over crushed ice and garnish with an umbrella, pineapple slice and cherry.

 

The Blue Hawaii

 

3/4 oz Sugarshine

3/4 oz Oryza Vodka

1/2 oz Blue Curacao

3 oz pineapple juice

1 oz Sweet & Sour Mix

 

Pour all ingredients in a tall glass over ice.  Garnice with a pineapple slice and a cherry.
