Negroni Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce gin
• 1 ounce Campari
• 1 ounce sweet vermouth
• orange twist

Directions:
Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice. Add gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. Stir gently and garnish with an orange twist.

Campari Sanguinea Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce Campari
• 2 ounces pomegranate juice
• 2 ounces fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
• grapefruit twist

Directions:
Pour Campari, pomegranate juice, and grapefruit juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with grapefruit twist.

Jasmine Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces gin
• 3/4 ounces fresh squeezed lemon juice
• 1/4 ounce Campari
• 1/4 ounce Cointreau

Directions:

Pour gin, lemon juice, Campari, and Cointreau into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well.  Strain into your favorite cocktail glass, chilled. Garnish with a wedge of lemon.

Americano Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces Campari
• 1 1/2 ounces Sweet Vermouth
• club soda
• orange wedge

Directions:
Fill highball glass with ice. Add Campari and sweet vermouth. Top with club soda. Garnish with orange wedge.

Old Fashioned Classic

Looking for the drink recipe for an Old Fashioned Classic?  Here's Knob Creek's take:

Old Fashioned Classic

Ingredients:
2 parts Knob Creek® Bourbon
2 dashes bitters
1 splash water
1 tsp sugar
1 maraschino cherry
1 orange wedge

Method:
Mix sugar,  water and bitters in an Old Fashioned glass. Drop in a cherry and orange wedge. Muddle into a paste using a muddle or the back end of a spoon. Pour in bourbon, fill with ice cubes and stir.

Official Drink of the 2013 Kentucky Bourbon Festival

Each year, during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, a Mixed Drink Challenge determines the Official Drink of the next year's Bourbon Festival.  A number of area bars and restaurants compete for the drink that will hold the title.

Without further ado.

Kentucky Bourbon Festival 2013 Official Drink

"Oak" Fashioned

Ingredients:

2 ounces bourbon
1/2 ounce Apple Brandy
1/4 ounce Dry Curacao
1/2 teaspoon turbinado sugar
1/8 ounce blood orange bitters
Splash club soda

Directions:

Muddle sugar and bitters in rocks glass. Other ingredients are aged in charred white oak barrel and previously married. Fill glass with barrel aged spirits and stir to combine. Garnish with macerated apple balls.

Special instructions:
Bourbon, Apple Brandy and Dry Curacao are married and aged together in new charred white oak barrel for at least two weeks.
