 This highball drink recipe is Evan Williams version of the classic highball drink.

EVAN HIGHBALL

Ingredients:

2 ounces Evan Williams bourbon

Ginger Ale to taste

Lemon wedge

Directions:

Build over ice in highball glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Now how simple is that!

Jack & Jingle

Ingredients:

1oz Jack Daniel's Old No. 7

5oz Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite

1/2 oz Aperol

Splash of cranberry juice

Cranberries and lemon twist

Instructions:

Fill a cocktail shaker half way with ice.

Add all ingredients and shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds.

Fill glass half way with ice.

Strain liquid into glass.

Garnish with cranberries and lemon twist.

Ingredients:

• 1-1/2 ounces Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple whiskey
• 1-1/2 ounces sour apple liqueur
• 1-1/2 ounces cranberry juice
• apple slice

Directions:

• Combine Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple flavored whiskey, sour apple liqueur, and cranberry juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake well.  
• Strain contents into a martini glass.
• Garnish with slice of apple.

1 teaspoon fine grain sugar

2 small cloves

1.5 ounces of boiling water

Pour Crown Royal Vanilla flavored whisky, sugar and cloves in a mug of boiling water. Garnish with a lemon wedge. Add more water as desired.

• 1 ounce Jacob's Ghost White Whiskey

• 3-5 fresh mint leaves
• 3/4 ounce honey syrup (4 parts honey dissolved in 1 part steaming hot water; let cool)

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire now Available

If you know me personally, you know I have a rug in my back foyer that reads "Jack Lives Here", along with a number of other Jack Daniel's memorabilia throughout. Therefore, you won't be surprised to know how excited I am for the introduction of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire. 

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire has been released so far in Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. I guess that means I need to make a run for the (state) border, to pick up a bottle!

It should be available in the rest of the United States in the Spring of 2015.  I'm pretty sure I won't be waiting that long.

• Pinch of Raw Sugar
• Orange Peel
• 3 Dashes Bitters

Directions:
Drop a pinch of raw sugar, orange peel, and 3 dashes bitters into a rocks glass and muddle.  Add Knob Creek® Smoked Maple Bourbon and Calvados Boulard® Apple Brandy and stir with ice.


Big Maple Old Fashioned

 Ingredients:

• 2 parts Knob Creek® Smoked Maple Bourbon
• 2-3 dashes of Angostura® Bitters
• Small pinch of raw sugar
• Splash of club soda
• Orange slice
• Cherry

Directions:
In a rocks glass, muddle sugar and bitters. Stir in Knob Creek® Smoked Maple and fill glass with ice. Add a splash of club soda and garnish with orange & cherry.
