 Lost in Paradise Ranch Water

Ingredients:

2 ounces 1800 Cristalino Tequila

.5 ounce homemade blood orange oleo saccharum

.5 ounce blood orange juice

 2 drops homemade 80/20 saline solution

carbonated pressed coconut water

unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker except the coconut water. 

Strain over two rocks of ice. 

Top with a splash of carbonated pressed coconut water. 

Garnish with blood orange oleo saccharum and coconut flakes for an offset rim and top with a blood orange slice.  

Asphalt Road Shot Recipe

 I had never heard of the Asphalt Road shot, until I seen it on this lime juice tag from Pompeii Juices.

Being a fan of Irish Cream, this one definitely sounds interesting.

Ingredients:

1 part Pompeii Lime Juice

1 part Irish Cream

1 part Vodka

Directions:

Mix and shoot right away!

Moscow Mule Drink Recipe

 Pompeii Juices included a few drink recipes on their lime juice.

Ingredients:

6 ounces Ginger Beer

1 part vodka

2 parts Pompeii Lime Juice

Ice

Instructions:

Combine ingredients "on the rocks" in a chilled copper mug or chilled glass.

Garnish with a lime slice and/or mint.

Candy Cane Martini Drink Recipe

What better way to liven up your holiday party than with a holiday themed drink recipe! 

This Candy Cane Martini drink recipe includes Tito's vodka and crushed candy canes. 

This one is really simple to make.

Ingredients: 

2.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka 

¼ oz Grenadine 

¼ oz Simple syrup 

2 drops Peppermint extract 

Candy canes (crushed) 

Instructions: 

Place candy canes in a strong sealable bag and break into small pieces.

Wet the rim of the martini glass lightly with water and press into candy cane pieces. 

Add vodka, grenadine, simple syrup, and peppermint extract to a shaker with ice. 

Shake and strain into the martini glass with a crushed candy cane rim.

Evan Highball

 This highball drink recipe is Evan Williams version of the classic highball drink.

EVAN HIGHBALL

Ingredients:

2 ounces Evan Williams bourbon

Ginger Ale to taste

Lemon wedge

Directions:

Build over ice in highball glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Poison Apple - this one is easy.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounce Jack Daniel's Tennesse Apple whiskey

4 ounces cranberry juice

Instructions:

Pour Jack Daniel's Tennesse Apple whiskey over ice in your favorite old fashioned glass.

Top with cranberry juice.

Headless Honey

Ingredients:

2 ounces Jack Daniel's Tennesse Honey whiskey

Ginger Beer

Instructions:

Fill a highball glass or a small mason jar 3/4 with ice.

Pour Jack Daniel's Tennesse Honey over ice.

Top with ginger beer.

Garnish with a wedge of lime.

Jack the Sipper - this one sounds delicious!

1 ounce black cherry juice

Alabama Iced Tea

Most everyone knows I've spent a number of winters on the Gulf of Mexico in Alabama.

This year I discovered a new, new to me that is, distillery, Murder Creek Distillery.

We had such a great time in January, we had to go back in February and bring friends.

Alabama Iced Tea is just one of the drink recipes I picked up from their distillery. I'll be sharing more with you in the not-so-distant future.

Even though they keep the cocktail menu in a nice leatherette, you don't get to see it, unless you ask. That's the Penny Cocktail Menu in which I'm referring.

That's right, both Ginny Lane and the Villaggio Grille in Orange Beach offer a drink you can purchase for a penny. You heard me right, one cent.

Villaggio Fizz Drink Recipe

You know it must be one of either the owner's or the bartender's favorites, when it's named after the restaurant. This Villaggio Fizz drink is from the menu at the Villaggio Grille. Of course, they don't tell you how to make it or how much they use, so I've come up with my own directions.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces Gin
1 tsp Pomegranate Puree
1/4 ounce Fresh Lime juice
Mist Twist to taste

Directions:
Combine gin, pomegranate puree and lime juice in your favorite classic cocktail glass and stir. Add Mist Twist to taste.

Orange Beach Sunset

The Orange Beach Sunset is named for the town of Orange Beach, which is where the Villaggio Grille is located. Here is another one from their penny cocktail menu. Of course, they don't tell you how to make it or how much they use, so I've come up with my own directions.

Orange Beach Sunset Drink Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 ounces Tequila
1/2 ounce Grapefruit Juice
1/2 ounce Orange Juice
splash of grenadine

Directions:
Pour the tequila, grapefruit juice and orange juice in a glass filled with ice and stir gently. Add a splash of grenadine and enjoy.

Spiked Cranberry Lemonade Drink Recipe

When you look at the ingredients, it seems pretty cut and dried. The name basically tells what's in this cocktail from the Villaggio Grille's Penny Cocktail Menu. Of course the menu doesn't tell the quantity or how to concoct it, so I've came up with that information on my own.

1 1/2 ounces Vodka
1/2 ounce Lemonade
1/2 ounce Cranberry Juice

Directions:
Fill your favorite cocktail glass with ice and top with ingredients. Stir and enjoy.

1 ounce Tequila
1/2 ounce Blue Curacao
1/4 ounce Sour Mix

Directions:
Salt rim of your favorite cocktail glass and fill with ice. Pour ingredients over ice and enjoy.

This is probably my favorite of the 3 recipes on their penny cocktail menu.

The Sunset

1 1/2 ounces Rum
1/4 ounce Pineapple juice
splash of grenadine

Pour rum and pineapple juice in a classic cocktail glass over ice. Add splash of grenadine. Stir lightly.
