Candy Cane Martini Drink Recipe

What better way to liven up your holiday party than with a holiday themed drink recipe! 

This Candy Cane Martini drink recipe includes Tito's vodka and crushed candy canes. 

This one is really simple to make.

Ingredients: 

2.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka 

¼ oz Grenadine 

¼ oz Simple syrup 

2 drops Peppermint extract 

Candy canes (crushed) 

Instructions: 

Place candy canes in a strong sealable bag and break into small pieces.

Wet the rim of the martini glass lightly with water and press into candy cane pieces. 

Add vodka, grenadine, simple syrup, and peppermint extract to a shaker with ice. 

Shake and strain into the martini glass with a crushed candy cane rim.

If you've ever been around the Florida-Alabama state line at the Gulf, I'm sure you've heard of Flora-Bama. 

A lot of Flora-Bama's drink recipes include Blue Chair Bay rum.  If you're not familiar with Blue Chair Bay Rum, it's a little more expensive than Captain Morgan and a little cheaper than The Kraken.

Their web site states less than 99 tropical calories and that it is blended with natural ingredients. Also, it is "inspired by the island lifestyle of multi-platinum singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney."

The Orange Beach Sunset is named for the town of Orange Beach, which is where the Villaggio Grille is located. Here is another one from their penny cocktail menu. Of course, they don't tell you how to make it or how much they use, so I've come up with my own directions.

Orange Beach Sunset Drink Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/4 ounces Tequila
1/2 ounce Grapefruit Juice
1/2 ounce Orange Juice
splash of grenadine

Directions:
Pour the tequila, grapefruit juice and orange juice in a glass filled with ice and stir gently. Add a splash of grenadine and enjoy.

Ingredients:

• 1 bottle Mirassou Pinot Noir
• 12 ounces grenadine syrup
• 12 ounces lemon lime soda
• ice 
• lime garnish

Directions:
Pour the red wine and grenadine into a shaker with ice and mix. Fill glass with wine/grenadine mixture and lemon lime soda and stir. Serve with a lime twist for garnish and enjoy!
